A Year Later

By popular demand my Lightkatana Fight and Hail To The King designs are back on sale. Both were previously available for only 24 hours (teefury, ript, etc), last year, on a tuesday. But thanks to my broskis over at SnorgTees, they are now available for days, weeks, months, maybe even years, and perfect for this coming holiday gift gifting season.

It has been a busy fall. A gazillion projects done, with only a couple million more to go. I keep hearing in the news and political debates that we’re still in a recession, but I haven’t noticed the way my freelance clients have been swarming.

Found a tasty surprise at the market. Dannon, my favorite yogurt, who used my fonts a couple times last year in a few contest promo designs, decided they liked my Amperzand font so much they kept it for their regular packaging.

I don’t usually get the full experience of doing designs for bands. Example, worked on a bunch of merch for Blink-182’s summer/fall tour, but never made it to the actual shows to see the designs “in action”. But thankfully I finally get to.

Almost a year after I started working with Fete Music Olneyville on a few print designs, we’re finally moving ahead with doing full out promo work. The most recent, and most awesome, is the upcoming Mos Def show. Wicked excited to see the show, below is the gig poster I created for it.
