Battle Like A Boss
My mom had her own small business, which exposed me to a greater level of work and responsibility than most teenagers, and helped me get an A- on my small business project in middle school, booyah. But even with that experience, I constantly find being your own boss can be just as limiting as working corporate. It’s filled with time management, second guessing, project planning, etc. I juggle multiple freelance jobs every week along with a constant avalanche of snorg designs. Best advice for those about to enter the entrepreneur arena? Same advice as anyone playing chess: breathe and look at the whole board. Goals are easier to obtain when you have a clear view of the finish line.
Spent a weekend with the snorg crew down in Atlanta for some “all work / all play” good times. Taking in all the downtown sculptures, getting lost in the snorg warehouse, and catching up with good friends is just what this drained brain needed.

Now that I’m back home it’s time to prepare for this season of summer kickball games. I created a logo/jersey for our new team, the Providence Ballbusters, using the demolition union concept. I work 5/6 days a weeks for a large organization, and spend just about every night and weekend on freelance. So when there’s a chance to soak in some sun with friends and kick around a ball like a carefree ten year old, you jump on it.
Having my first tee-off battle with a colleague over at Teefury. Keeping with the “rivalry” theme, my Star Wars parody of the Liverpool FC logo will face off against John Sprengelmeyer’s Star Trek parody of the Manchester United logo. Two fights for one.
For the good of the galaxy, my design, Rebellion, will be on sale April 28th at Teefury for only 24 hours.
