Summer Type

By popular demand, my sugar skull trooper design is now available in multiple season-friendly colors. The top brass at snorg have decided to make it available in brown, navy, and kelly green. Perfect for rocking out your nerdness without clashing with the change of weather settings.
Awhile back, Hasbro comissioned me to make a font for one of their Iron Man toy lines, so I adapted my Aldo the Apache font with metal shine and sent it off. Although they purchased my time, they never decided to license the font, so now that the statue of limitations is up I’ve made it available to every one. Along with it I’ve posted 2 others that I created, Wicked Grit and Anchor Jack, used on a few gig posters I designed in the past.
Summer is usually the movie buff’s paradise, yet some of the flicks I found the best weren’t any of the ones I would have assumed. My Top 5 summer movies: Attack The Block, X-Men First Class, Page One, The Guard, and Super 8.
As summer comes to a close, I’m squeezing every bit of beach, hike, and run, I can before the bitter New England weather steals them away. We designers have a pretty stationary life given the current major tool of our trade is a finger needed to click a mouse. So once Saturday hits, I’m outside like a dog that hopped the fence. After 2 bruised ribs, 3 sprained fingers, a sprained ankle, and a pile of bloody knees, my team’s official kickball season ended with a 3-5 record. Fingers crossed we might make playoffs depending on the other records in the league.
